If you get a chance to make it in the future, DCA Finals weekend is a blast. I just wish more people discovered this gem of a show. My personal favorites are the I & E Mini-Corps show on Friday and the Alumni show on Sunday morning. The Mini-Corps is free and spectacular. Where else can you hear the Jetson's theme song played and the Cab alumni's famous cadence. At the open finals on Sunday the Bucs continued to dominate. The Corps, especially the guard were dialed in. Over the next week or so, we will have DCA pictures on the "THROW IT DOWN" blog. The DCA finals weekend will be in Rochester, NY next year and then Annapolis in 2012. True Americana. You don't have to be a Drum Corps fanatic to enjoy the show. Drop by and check it out - you won't regret it.
